Animals for our second annual MeatOut event to honor
a day without eating meat. In the style of a 60's
Sit-In, we will host a Veg-In, complete with a veggie
cooking class and art project. Jaynel Hollis of Greenwood
Kitchen (www.thegreenwoodkitchen.com), famous
for her tasty vegan snacks, leads the cooking class
from 11am to noon. Kids can eat what they make for
lunch! Artist Zipora Schulz leads the art project
from noon to 1:00pm. For the art project, kids create
their own flags, bandanas, and signs promoting a cruelty-free
lifestyle. Please meet at Essene Market
& Cafe (workshop room behind cafe) from 10:45-11:00am.
The manager will escort families to the classroom.

and contact information.
