Operation Prop 2 Follow-Through

Most Americans want to reduce animal suffering. This was recently demonstrated with the passage of Proposition 2 in California, which prohibits animals raised for food from being confined so that they do not have sufficient room to spread their wings and turn around. While the passage of Proposition 2 is step in the right direction, the only long-term solution to reduce animal suffering is to not eat them.

Our goal is to inspire Californians to take the next step toward compassion with the slogan, “You favored Prop 2 – Now go vegan too!” The campaign, Operation Prop 2 Follow-Through, aims to maintain activist momentum while concerns about animals raised for food are still fresh in the minds of Californians.

The campaign started in the beginning of January and will culminate with The Great American Meatout in March. California activists are taking to the streets with colorful handouts (available soon), and we'll be placing billboards and bus ads in major California cities.
